About this report*

Anheuser-Busch InBev’s 2008 Global Citizenship Report follows the Global Reporting Initiative’s third generation (G3) sustainability reporting guidelines. We declare our 2008 report to satisfy Application Level B.

This year we applied greater rigor to the way we checked our compliance to GRI G3’s core indicators. We asked sustainability advisors csrnetwork to independently review the extent of our adherence to the requirements of each core indicator. We have improved our reporting accordingly and incorporated their conclusions into our final GRI Index.

We are making preparations for external assurance for the 2010 report.

Each of the chapters has its own web page where you can link to the relevant section of the printed report. Supplementary material not covered in the printed report can be found in a ‘supporting information’ PDF found on each page.

The report is based primarily on 2007 data with some additional 2008 content.
