EU Alcohol & Health Forum
In June 2007, our company became a signatory member of the European Alcohol & Health Forum.
The overall objective of the Forum is to provide a common platform for all interested stakeholders at EU level that pledge to step up actions relevant to reducing alcohol-related harm; notably in the areas of under-age drinking; information and education on responsible patterns of consumption; consumer information; enforcing age limits for serving and selling of alcohol; the promotion of effective behavioral change among children and adolescents and promoting responsibility in commercial communications and sales.
Both InBev and Anheuser-Busch joined as affiliate members, under the umbrella of the EU level trade association, The Brewers of Europe.
As Anheuser-Busch InBev, we currently have three corporate commitments under the Alcohol & Health Forum:
- to organize a Social Norms Conference to disseminate knowledge around this approach that can effect behavioral change
See the links and documents below for some further information: - to further improve the implementation of our Commercial Communications Code, promoting responsibility in commercial communications
See the documents below for some further information: - to create a programme for our employees around responsible drinking, informing and educating on responsible patterns of consumption
