Our CDM colleagues are demonstrating their full support of nationwide measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Mozambique. 

Together with government agencies, CDM recently launched a campaign promoting safe hygiene and sanitation practices across the country. It targets places where people typically gather, such as markets, bus stops and other public transportation. Dedicated teams are regularly disinfecting these spaces and encouraging hand washing for anyone entering and leaving. CDM is further raising awareness by replacing all of its billboard and digital advertising with educational messages from the Ministry of Health. Up next, CDM is developing materials to assist bars and restaurants in adhering to preventive measures when they are allowed to reopen. 

These efforts follow on to CDM’s donation of 4,000 liters of hand sanitizer to the Ministry of Health for distribution to hospitals and healthcare professionals, and the launch of EntregaLá, an online platform thatconnects residents with local businesses offering goods and home delivery services.
