Our partnerships, with breweries and the brewers behind them, play an indispensable role in our business. That’s because relationships are key to how we do things and it’s with this collaboration that we’re able to have access to constant and exciting innovation. We are proud to have over 500 brands in our portfolio offering the best possible beer, with different styles to suit any person or occasion.
Today we are shining the spotlight on some of these partnerships through a social media campaign called ‘Brewers On Tap’, that celebrates our passion for quality and innovation throughout the brewing process and in the end product.
The campaign gives a behind-the-scenes insight into some of our breweries that are renowned for their founding brewers and demonstrates how they have harnessed their entrepreneurial spirit to make their breweries what they are today. Our founding brewers discuss their retrospective journeys, the art and science that goes into producing great beer and how they are united by dreaming big.
In the campaign, Christina Perozzi, Goose Island Educator and certified Cicerone, hosts the conversation with our brewers: Jasper Cuppaidge, Founder of Camden Town Brewery in London, Mark Burford, Founder of Blue Point Brewery in Long Island USA and Jaron Mitchell, Founder of 4 Pines Brewing Company in Sydney Australia.
Chatting over a beer in the brand-new Patchogue, Blue Point Brewery, they debate success, the expansion of their businesses and how their breweries are all still rooted in a rich heritage of tradition.
The brewers discuss how, by teaming up with AB InBev, they share a common goal to continue to innovate and push beer culture forward, through new and interesting ingredients, bringing new twists to old school brewing practices.
In the conversation, Jaron Mitchell suggests that “the wonderful thing about beer is that it is a conversation starter – it is more than what is just in the glass, beer is something that can punctuate the moment in time.” We couldn’t agree more, and it’s this shared passion that makes these partnerships so fruitful and meaningful.
At AB InBev, we are committed to protecting the rich traditions of our much-loved brands while constantly innovating to create new beer for consumers. “Nobody has an ugly baby” remarks Mark Burford. And he’s right, to those whose passion and purpose in life is to create the beer we all love, even the bad batches along the way are significant.
The beer industry has entered a new era where we are excited to see an increase in talent and different beers available. But, the passion for the product that lies behind these brands is something that will never change.
