6 February 2024 – AB InBev today announced a change to the Senior Leadership Team.
AB InBev Chief Sustainability Officer, Ezgi Barcenas will be leaving AB InBev to take on a different professional opportunity. During her 10+ year tenure, Ezgi has taken on roles of increasing responsibility, serving as a trusted advisor, stewarding our sustainability efforts, and overseeing our award-winning accelerator program. In 2021, Ezgi was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer for AB InBev. In this capacity, Ezgi spearheaded lasting partnerships, helping to strengthen our sustainability agenda, especially in the areas of water stewardship and agricultural development.
Ingrid De Ryck has been appointed as our new Chief Sustainability Officer. Ingrid has been with AB InBev for more than 22 years and has strong experience across different zones and globally, working in our Supply Chain, Logistics and Procurement teams throughout her career. Most recently, Ingrid served as VP, Procurement & Sustainability for Europe, where she built a resilient supply chain of materials and revised our commodity strategy in an inflationary environment. She is well known for delivering meaningful progress towards AB InBev’s 2025 Sustainability Goals while driving sustainable financials results. Ingrid holds a master’s degree in business engineering from the Leuven University and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. She will continue to be based in Leuven – the home of Stella Artois. Ingrid will report to Ricardo Moreira, AB InBev’s Chief Supply Chain Officer.
These changes will be effective March 1st, 2024.
