From the creation of Corona, the world’s most valuable beer brand (Kantar 2025), to the launch of new options such as Corona Cero, Grupo Modelo has set the standard for brewing excellence. Today, Corona, Modelo Especial, and Victoria rank among the four most valuable beer brands in Mexico (Kantar 2025), reflecting the pride and excellence of products Made in Mexico.
INNOVATION FROM BREW TO SHELF
For a century, Grupo Modelo has leveraged innovation and consumer insights to create a positive impact in Mexico. In 1940, it revolutionized the market with the first transparent beer bottle, Corona; in 1966, it introduced the country’s first canned beer, Modelo Especial; and decades later, with Corona Cero in 2016 and Modelo 0% in 2025, it helped spearhead the no-alcohol beer category.
Driving digital transformation for traditional retail channels has also been one of the brewery’s priorities. Through its B2B platform BEES, Grupo Modelo has digitized over 90% of its sales, empowering small neighborhood stores and their owners and helping them strengthen operations with training and business development opportunities.
Today, the company’s commitment comes to life through mega platforms that celebrate passion and the positive moments that bring people together, including the Olympic Games, the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Corona Capital festivals, and this year’s Corona Capital Sessions in Yucatán, Jalisco, and Nuevo León.
