AB InBev brews great beers and is always looking to serve up new ways to meet life’s moments and create more occasions – with more cheers. When compared to other alcohol beverages, beer has a lower alcohol-by-volume (ABV), making it the drink of choice for a balanced lifestyle.
This month, AB InBev is celebrating beer as the drink of moderation and our extensive balanced choices portfolio which gives consumers the flexibility to alternate between alcohol beverages and low- or no-alcohol options.
On October 2, we hosted annual Global Beer Responsible Day celebrations all over the world with visits to retail shops, pubs, bars, and restaurants. Together, our colleagues and partners shared moderation tips with customers and servers, offered samples of our no-alcohol beers, and held memorable brand experiences to inspire responsible enjoyment.
In Belgium, the Global Innovation and Technology Center (GITEC) also hosted media and stakeholders for a behind-the-scenes look at how we’ve enhanced the flavor profile of our no-alcohol beers to replicate the same great taste our consumers have come to love.
“AB InBev is constantly looking for new ways to innovate,” said David De Schutter, Global Vice President of GITEC. “Our brewers and scientists are crafting high-quality, no-alcohol beers with their own unique taste and character - from Jupiler 0.0, which was named the world’s best no-alcohol lager, to Corona Cero, the Global Beer Sponsor of the Olympic Games Paris 2024.”
Expanding the category and impact
AB InBev is one of the world’s largest producers of no-alcohol beer, and we continue to grow this segment with our portfolio of 29 no-alcohol brands available in more than 45 markets worldwide.
For decades, AB InBev and our partners have made a significant impact in promoting moderation and responsible drinking by:
- Investing over $1 billion in social norms marketing campaigns and programs
- Supporting technology and innovation platforms to reduce harmful drinking
- Training servers at global events to encourage responsible consumption
Our role as Global Sponsor of the International Olympic Committee also provides a unique platform to showcase our no- and low-alcohol beer portfolio and engage with fans around the world. This was demonstrated during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and will continue at the upcoming Milano-Cortina Winter Games in 2026.
From the local pub to the world’s biggest sporting events, beer is the beverage of moderation, and AB InBev is there for every moment, bringing more choices and more reasons to celebrate.
